Laboratory of Viruses Contaminants of Water and Food
REPORT ON THE STABILITY AND DISINFECTION OF 2019-N-COV.
The Water and Food Contaminant Virus Laboratory (University of Barcelona) exposed wet and dry viral suspensions to treatment with ozone / d-limonene using the disinfection unit. The result was a reduction of between 99% and 92% of the initial RSV concentration in wet and dry conditions respectively after 2 hours. According to the results in the laboratory, the device can be expected that the efficiency in aerosols and surfaces of the hydroxyl radicals (OH) generated by the tested device, perform a disinfecting action similar to ozone without the inconvenience of toxicity.

EFFICIENCY AGAINST ROTAVIRUS VIRUSES (DRY CONDITIONS).
The device was able to reduce 99% of the initial RoV concentration after 2 hours of treatment. Equivalent efficiency is expected receiving equivalent doses of aerosols.
EFFICIENCY AGAINST COXACKIEVIRUS B5 VIRUS.
The reduction in the number of viruses on dry surfaces ranged from 99.42 to 99.99% after 4 hours.

MICROBIOLOGICAL TEST ON OZONE AND PEROXIDE.
EFFICIENCY AGAINST ESCHERICHIA COLI & PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA & STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS BACTERIA.
The device was able to reduce more than 99.9% of the initial concentration of Escherichia coli and more than 94% of the initial concentration of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa microbes after 2 hours of treatment. Both H2O2 work equally in the three bacteria tested.
EFFICIENCY AGAINST VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (VOC) AND PARTICLES – CRESCA TEST.
After 30 minutes, without Wellisair the control reaches a harmful air quality and the TVOC and particulate values are above those recommended by international standards. However, with the Wellisair purifier it is possible to maintain good air quality after 30 minutes.

EFFICIENCY AGAINST BACILLUS SUBTILIS & ESCHERICHIA COLI & STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS BACTERIA (AIR).
The device was able to reduce more than 99.9% of the initial concentration of bacteria in the air of Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis after 20 minutes of treatment and the same reduction of Staphylococcus aureus after 60 minutes of treatment.
EFFICIENCY AGAINST BACILLUS SUBTILIS & ESCHERICHIA COLI & STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS BACTERIA (SURFACE).
The device was able to reduce more than 99% of the initial concentration of surface bacteria after 60 minutes of treatment for Bacillus subtilis and Escherichia Coli and more than 50% for Staphylococcus aureus.

OZONE EMISSIONS TEST
Wellisair meets the criteria required by the standard with a maximum emission of 0.016ppm not higher than the permitted concentration of 0.050ppm. Additionally, it is not necessary to test a second Wellisair per UL867, as the maximum emissions from the first sample have been less than 0.030 ppm, satisfying the exception in section 40.1.1.
